'Armadale Castle' on the 31st December 1928 with address now given as 1 Bancroft Road, London. 1939 Register living at 16 Bedford Square, Brighton, Sussex. Buried in Jewish cemetery Brighton. Served as a Private in the Royal Army Service Corps during WW1 enlisting at Whitechapel on the 24th June 1916. Service No. M/378340 joining No.1 Crystal Palace depot as a Motorman. Demobbed 2nd March 1919. Buried in Smith family plot, Jewish Cemetery, Marlow Road London with tributes from living children Tommy, Alfie, Jimmy, Rosie, Hannah & Doris.

Details state 5 children born with 1 child having died.Other family recollection is that two other children were born,- a Jimmy and Bert, - but there is no record of this.
