Note on Husband: Bertie (Albert) ORR
1906 joined the Glosters Regiment as a Militia No. 8265. Became a Lance Corporal. then worked for Bristol Corporation in the engineers dept. Served in France and Flanders during WW1 seeing action between 5th August and 22nd November 1914 and awarded 'clasped' 1914 Star confirming he had been under fire. Wounded, he was discharged in 1914. He was also awarded the Victory Medal, The British War Medal, Clasp and Roses and the Silver War Badge. 2
