His remains were exhumed in 1973 together with all those buried before 1873 and transferred to a common grave at the Sephardi cemetery in Brentwood, Essex when part of the Novo was subject to a compulsory purchase and is now part of the campus of the Queen Mary University of London. |

Grave was destroyed by German bombing in September 1941 and her remains were reburied in a multiple crypt in the centre of the memorial garden laid out in the form of a six-pointed star (Magen David) to mark the spot where the bombs fell. |
