Emigrate to Brazil. A Solomon LEVY is shown departing on the ship 'Esturias' from Southampton on 5th December 1913 for Buenos Ares, Brazil. His occupation is given as 'Agent' age 25 from a 'Foreign Country' and contracted to land at the port of Santos. A great Grandaughter wrote;

"Came to Recife - Pernambuco Brazil, he said he had fled from the fire (smog) of London and went with his cousin, after he came to Rio Grande do Norte work to build dams. The surname Soares is a family who probably lived in Recife - Pernambuco, Brazil and the last name Salles, was probably changed because of the persecution of the Jews or the flight from London on a ship and then the president of Brazil, Campos was Salles. He was hailed as a new Christian, married in the Catholic church in the town of Martins-RN at the time the priest was a German named Joseph."
